Bureau of Multiversal Arbitration is a game that creates “bizarre” pictures from artificial intelligence
One match it is ingratiating itself with the public by encouraging the public to find intriguing images, so to speak, created by artificial intelligence (IA). OR Multiversal Arbitration Bureau it’s an experience that happens in the chat app Discord and encourages the player to “brows the file multiverse” looking for inspiration, information and innovation.
With just over 620 members, the game created by the Aconite company and directed by Nadya Lev and Star St.Germain consists of imposing tasks on users to find, for example, a completely strange sweet.
By artificial intelligence, with an image generator, players create their own photos to compete with others. The winning creation is the most voted by users and is displayed in a “virtual refrigerator”.

“Many people are doing it technology a villain,” St. Germain told The Guardian newspaper. “And he’s scary, he does amazing things: you type something and suddenly you have this otherworldly image,” he added.
And according to the creators, this is the genesis of the game: to reframe the hallucinatory aspects of the creation of TO THE as a feature, not a bug.
From “Detailed rococo fridge in the kitchen”, to “A creature with a thousand eyes and a million limbs, cooked the way of duck au orange”, the images created in the game are not like the usual ones.
Despite this, the platform has a “filter” that blocks objectionable words or explicit content with blood, for example.

“We put a lot of work into the fiction and curating the material to prevent some of these things from happening. [conteúdo nocivo] happen,” says S. Germain, “but occasionally we also find ways to support each other, with the aim of taking the pressure off, but with something that is perhaps a more tame version of what some people are capable of,” he said.
Even so, the creator explains that there are situations that can be more “disgusting”. “You can make bug candy. Because we wanted to pick something that some players would be horrified to see. Give the players the opportunity to say: ‘I’m going to do something gross'”, St. Germano.
How to play
For people interested in weird stuff, the platform is free. Just create an account on Discord, enter the game channel and accept the code of conduct, which includes not creating images that incite violence, hatred or deviate from the platform’s proposal. Furthermore, self-promotion (with invitations to other channels) or the creation of spam is not permitted.
