On a weekly basis, Netflix reveals lists of series and movies that have brought streaming audiences, both globally and in each country. And between 21 and 27 November the production of the service most viewed in the world was the series “Wandinha“, the long-awaited spin-off of the Addams Family.
In addition to showing the Top 10 by country and also the Globalstreaming informs the number of hours watched by each production during the week in question, as well as how many times the series or film appeared in the weekly Top 10.
“Wandinha” achieved a staggering 341 million hours watched in its debut week, a number that broke the record set by “Stranger Things” season 4, which held the record for the best debut on the platform with 335 million of hours in the first week.
Already “1899” has maintained its place in second place in the rankings as the previous week, increasing its audience from the first to the second week of the show, an impressive feat. The German series from the same makers of “Dark” achieved nearly 88 million watched hours in its second week on Netflix.
As for films, the most watched globally was the adventure “Terra dos Sonhos”. The success of Jason Momoa’s feature film stands out in appearing at the top of the Top 10, as the film was released on November 11, i.e. already in its third week.
To complete the list of audience leaders, the most watched non-English language film was the new Polish action “Lesson Plan”. Among non-English-language series, the sixth season of the Spanish “Elite” takes first place.
Global top 10
In the Global Top 10, the new series “Wandinha” was the biggest hit of the week among English-language series, breaking ratings records:
