SP City Hall provides credit for school uniforms

From this Monday (12) the Municipality of SP will make credits available so that those responsible for students enrolled in the Municipal Network can already make their purchases of school materials and uniforms, in affiliated shops, for the 2023 school year.

It is the first time that these values ​​are released two months before the start of classes, which takes place in February 2023.

For the purchase of the uniform, the value of the benefit is R$ 573.53. As for school supplies, credits for kits range from R$ 41.26 (for kindergarten children) to R$ 201.28 (elementary school students).

One million students served

More than one million students will be assisted with repurposed aid this year. Purchases must be made at authorized points of sale in the capital.

There are over 280 physical points in all regions of the city for the purchase of uniforms and more than 300 addresses for the purchase of school supplies. Most of the suppliers are small traders and entrepreneurs.

Purchasing managers have the autonomy to choose the necessary items within the kits and values ​​provided by the Municipality. Although the aid has already been unlocked, it can be used until October 2023.

Like last year, access to the release of both aids will take place via the DuePay School Kit application, which can be downloaded on any smartphone. The legal guardian of the minor enrolled in the network only needs to have the CPF registered in the school system, which in turn is present in the database of the Municipal Education Department.

Education Secretary Fernando Padula reiterated that the SME team has been working throughout the year to ensure that families can make their purchases earlier and more easily. “We want to ensure that next year students can go back to school in uniform and with the new materials acquired this year, in an agile way and without bureaucracy”.

Whoever receives material assistance from the Municipality of SP

Aid for school supplies will be made available to all students, from kindergarten to high school, including youth and adult education and students taking language courses at Centros de Estudos de Línguas Paulistanos (CELP) .

Each kit contains the elements needed to be used throughout the school year. However, the values ​​change, depending on the teaching cycle (see below).

Who receives uniform assistance

As for the uniform, only kindergarten students, from age 4, up to primary school 2, will be covered. and R$ 91.94 for footwear.

The kits consist of 5 shirts; 1 shorts; 1 set of jacket and pants; 1 sweatshirt jacket; 5 pairs of socks; 1 tennis player. The clothes must bear the coat of arms of the City of São Paulo.
