Several minors were attacked in the newly reconquered city

The human rights commissioner of the Ukrainian parliament, Dmytro Lubinets, stated on Wednesday (14) that in the city of Kherson, which was under Russian occupation between the end of February and the beginning of November, “chambers of torture for children”.

“We recorded the torture of children for the first time.

I thought the bottom couldn’t be bigger after Bucha, Irpin… but we really hit the bottom in Kherson,” the politician said in an interview with the “Kyiv Independent” portal, referring to two Ukrainian cities that had executions mass of civilians.

Among the reports, Lubinets told the website that she had heard from local residents that children and teenagers had been subjected to psychological abuse, feeling that their parents had abandoned them and kept them without food or water.

A 14-year-old boy was reportedly even arrested and tortured just for taking a picture of Russian military equipment that had been destroyed.

Kherson is one of the main scenarios of the current Russian attacks after the withdrawal of troops. The southern Ukrainian region had been unilaterally annexed by Russia. 🇧🇷
