For those who, like me, catch up with the New Year and watch everything that the hands have not reached for the last year, or even two, I recommend paying attention to the series “Contact” on the Premier online platform: the first season is available in full, and the second has already been filmed in its entirety. The main role is played by Pavel Maykov, who plays a policeman who is raising his teenage daughter alone. He himself works in the juvenile department, but the most difficult teenager for him is his own child. Yevgeny Stychkin sat in the director’s chair for the first time – I applaud! There are no bad or good heroes here, there are difficult destinies, there are adults and children who learn life from each other. It turned out really convincingly, there is definitely contact with the viewer! And I’m happy for Premier, who makes such quality content.

Another episode I missed… “The Last Minister” on Kinopoisk: two seasons are also available. Roman Volobuev made a satirical comedy about love for Russia, in which a visionary minister tries to make the country better… as best he can. Starring – Jan Tsapnik, Olga Sutulova, Nelli Uvarova and Sergey Epishev and the beautiful Daria and Ekaterina Nosik. Made honestly, with great taste and love for both the viewer and the characters, very topical – and wonderful literary humor that does not hurt the ear. However, one of the first initiatives of the new minister, leading the country to a brighter future, was the abolition of the censorship law, which resulted in TV shows full of cursing (not excluding the weather forecast!). I also note the excellent camera work and well-chosen acting alliances.

Of the novelties, I will note a promising project “13 clinical”which will be released on New Year’s Eve. The director of the fantasy detective was Klim Kozinsky, the screenwriter is the wonderful Andrey Zolotarev, the main roles are Danila Kozlovsky, Paulina Andreeva, Victoria Isakova and Vladimir Steklov. According to the plot A terminally ill surgeon Kirill finds a job in a clinic where doctors fight supernatural phenomena. In order to show his best side and convince the new management that the hospital needs him as an employee, he plunges headlong into work and into the complex relationships of people, witches and demons, honing his skills in the ability to determine who exactly here represents good and who – evil.

From December 8, the adventure thriller by Ilya Kulikov and Anya Mirokhin “Shadow. Take Gordey “ – an intriguing spy film in which the inimitable Philip Jankowski played the main villain, and spoke on the side of good

Oleg Gaas. Hero Yankovsky Gordey – an elusive spy, a man with many faces that no one has ever seen, and he steals state secrets. Catch the traitor Gordey is the task of an ambitious counterintelligence officer. The stakes are high, we are talking about national security – and the action turned out to be tense and holding attention to the last. Special thanks for the beautiful picture: this film definitely needs to be watched on the big screen!

And one more December news. The TheaterHD project of the art association CoolConnections, showing performances of the best theaters in the world on the big screen, with the support of the Embassy of the State of Israel, will present a program from December 16 to 28, 2022 “Ohad Naharin. Freedom of danceĀ»dedicated to the life and work of the outstanding Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin and dedicated to the choreographer’s 70th birthday. The program includes two works by director Tomer Heymann: the biographical documentary “Mr. Gaga”, which tells about the choreographer himself and his dance language or “Gaga” technique, and the film “Out of Focus”, dedicated to the rehearsals of the famous work of Naharin Deca Dance, in 2013 shown at the Chekhov Festival in Moscow. And the main event will be the premiere of the hypnotic performance “Chorus” on the big screen. Screenings will be held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg in the original language with Russian subtitles.
