The bandits steal the family car and leave the child comforted on the cycle path along the coast of SP

The criminals were arrested and taken to the Judicial Police Center of Praia Grande

Two criminals have been arrested after stealing a family’s car to continue the escape from another robbery, in the city of Great beach, on the coast of Sao Paulo. The crimes took place in the last week and the perpetrators were identified and arrested by the authorities.

Last Tuesday, the 13th, the bandits took the car of a family, a man, a woman and two children. The two children were taken from inside the car by the criminals. One of them was in a car seat and was left on a bike lane. The parents managed to get out of the car and no one was injured.

According to the Praia Grande Municipal Civil Guard (GCM), a team was notified of a vehicle theft late in the afternoon and, with the support of vehicles and monitoring, an abandoned car was identified on the Padre Manoel da Nóbrega highway.

While searching the neighborhood, two suspects were approached, and with them two cell phones, a fake gun and a car key were found. The defendants were questioned and confessed to stealing two cars moments earlier.

On their first attempt they were unsuccessful and only took the key and two mobile phones. While fleeing, another victim’s car was taken and then abandoned.

The two suspects were taken to the police station and the victims were told to collect their belongings. The Civil Police registered the case with the Judicial Police Center and are investigating whether a third party suspect was involved.
