With the significance of Namor’s hand gesture and connections to Mayan culture, fans were mesmerized by the Talokan water culture in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
It also helped that Tenoch Huerta’s performance as Namor had fans falling in love, even calling him a sexy badass. But despite being more visually appealing, the town of Talokan and its people are barely featured in the film.
It is still rare to see that actresses like Mabel Cadena took 6 hours to qualify as a Talocan resident, she had a supporting role. Unfortunately, other cast members who spent the same hours in the makeup department don’t even make it into the film.
Such is the case of an actress who revealed on her social networks that she was a Talokan scientist as well as a warrior who fought alongside Namor, but in the end all the scenes she recorded were deleted.

A day after the premiere of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” actress and stuntwoman Jewelianna Ramos-Ortiz shared photos of herself on the red carpet and an image from the credits featuring her as a stuntwoman.
However, a few days later Jewelianna herself revealed that she originally had another major role in the film, being Namor’s scientist on Talokan.

Namor’s Scientist Importance Removed From ‘Black Panther 2’
Jewelianna Ramos-Ortiz, who had already worked in the world of superheroes in the series “Ms. Marvel hasn’t revealed more about his character’s role, but a few things can be inferred from his outfit.
The look of the scientist consists of many colorful ornaments with figures of coral, seaweed and sea stones, indicating that she holds a high position in the population.
