After playing in the World Cup for the Brazilian national team, the midfielder and forward are the latest names to reappear in Flamengo’s pre-season

Everton Ribeiro and Pedro have returned to Ninho do Urubu. After participating in the World Cup, for the Brazilian national team, the midfielder and forward returned to Flamengo this Wednesday. Now the newly hired coach Vítor Pereira has a full squad available at the club CT.

At the last second, Arrascaeta and Varela, also at the World Cup in Qatar with the Uruguayan national team, had joined the group of players. Currently the team is made up of 27 athletes, including Bruno Henrique, recovering from surgery on his right knee.

Flamengo will make their debut in the Carioca Championship on 12 January, but will play the first rounds of the Statale with the Under 20 team, under the command of Mario Jorge. Vítor Pereira prepares the main squad for the Brazilian Super Cup on 28 January and the Club World Cup from 1 February. Before that, the Portuguese intends to grant playing minutes to the main players.
