The Salgueiro Academic Samba School, through the “Sambando para o Futuro” project, is recruiting volunteer teachers of all disciplines to give preparatory lessons for Enem 2023, on Saturdays, from 8:00 to 14:00.
Launched in August 2022, the project is coordinated by psychologist Vilma Araújo and has allowed 50 students to prepare for the competition for free. The aim of the current call is to enable more people to dream of getting into a good university.
“We are very happy to carry out this type of project here in Salgueiro and, for 2023, we want to expand all the possibilities. We have bet on the social pre-university entrance exam and it has been a success, even if it started in August, i our students were warriors and they gave a show One of the main roles of a samba school is to be a pole of social development and Salgueiro plays its part with great dignity and there is no better payment than seeing our goal achieved “, said Vilma Araújo , who is also in charge of the School Medical Center.
Enrollment for new students takes place between 9 and 31 January. Classes should start on February 4th. The requirements are to have completed high school or be in the last year of the cycle of studies.
Professionals interested in joining the project must be graduates or in the process of graduating in the subject they intend to teach, as well as having the time and commitment available.
