Hunters, Prime Video’s series about Nazi hunters, returns for the second and final season after almost three years of waiting; remember what happened
After almost three years of waiting, the second and final season of hunters is coming First video. The series follows a group of Nazi hunters who want to prevent the establishment of the Fourth Reich in the United States.

hunters is a series of action and adventure created by David Weil and produced by Jordan Peele, with actors such as Al Pacino, Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Tiffany Boone, among others.
With the day of the second season premiere of hunters on Prime Video coming soon, it’s time to recall the main events of the first season. Consult the table of contents canaltech prepared.
Who are the Nazi hunters?
It all begins when a Jewish teenager, Jonah (Logan Lerman), witnesses his grandmother being murdered by a masked man in his own home. The young man is then visited by Meyer (Pacino), a man who claims to be an old friend of the old woman and also a survivor of the holocaust. He even says that he can help the boy take revenge.
Meanwhile, FBI agent Millie Morris (Hinton) investigates the murder of a woman who was subjected to a deadly gas after taking a shower. In the victim’s apartment was a photo of one of the bosses of the NASA with Hitler.
The character Jonah begins to investigate the death of his grandmother and Meyer tells stories of torture in former concentration camps.
Soon we are introduced to the entire group of Nazi hunters formed by Meyer. They are nun Harriet (Kate Mulvany), disguise king Loony Flash (Josh Radnor), black movement activist Roxy Jones (Tiffany Boone), Vietnam War veteran Joe Torrance (Louis Ozawa) and weapons specialists Mindy and Murray (Carol Kane and Saul Rubinek).
Hunting and discoveries
The group then continues its hunt for the newest member and many Nazis are killed during this adventure. Meanwhile, Granny’s story continues to be explored by Jonah, as we see more events of resistance to the holocaust.
The hunters learn that the Nazis are planning a disaster for July 13th, 1977, with two weeks to go, and disclosure was via morse code. Jonah also learns that his grandmother Ruth had turned down a job with a man known as The Wolf, a Nazi doctor who had fallen in love with her and is very dangerous.
The group finds a basement filled with Nazi-stolen Jewish fortunes hidden in a bank, and among these are china, paintings, glassware, and jewelry. Meyer tells Jonah that the wolf must be killed and made the young man promise not to miss this opportunity.
They also discover that some Nazis were hired by NASA to work in the United States after WWII. Then, they also end up discovering that there are thousands of other disguised Nazis all over the country.
Jonah begins to suspect that Meyer is his grandfather, but lacks the courage to face him and more information about the Nazi attack begins to emerge. Meanwhile, hunters need dribble the police, who are suspicious of his activities.
The Nazis’ bioweapon targets inner-city minorities and is expected to kill an estimated 12 million people. The slow-dead component has been placed in corn syrup and to finish its effect the product must be heated to a certain temperature.
Looney breaks into the factory to heat the corn syrup, while Jonah sets explosives in the tanks. The explosions end up killing several Nazis who were there, but luckily the hunting party manages to get to safety.
Jonah’s investigation concluded that The Wolf is Meyer himself, who does not deny it when confronted. Then, he explains that he killed the real Meyer and stole his identity from him, further stating that he never cared about Nazi ideology, but that he enjoyed the power.
For 30 years, he even had surgery to look like Meyer and studied Judaism. Jonah then doesn’t hesitate to kill him. The first season of hunters comes to an end by also showing that Hitler is alive, which is the hook for the final season.
