Confined to “BBB 23”, Larissa is unaware that her grandfather is dead

One of the members of “BBB 23”, Larissa Santos, was unaware of the death of her paternal grandfather, who died on Saturday (14/1). The physical education teacher said goodbye to her relative before going to the birth in a hotel in Rio, where she awaits the start of the reality show.

The death of member Pipoca’s grandfather was confirmed by the administrators of Larissa’s Twitter and Instagram profiles. “It is with great regret that we inform you that this Saturday afternoon Lari’s paternal grandfather passed away, having had health problems for some months”, they write.

“Aware of having serious health complications, Lari lived a special moment with his grandfather [antes de ser confinada]. We wish the whole family much strength at this time. We will respect the mourning of the family.”

The Santa Catarina native had previously attempted to enter the program before. “I always imagined being on ‘BBB’. It was a dream and I knew the time would come,” he said, in his introduction.

‘BBB 23’ premieres this Monday night (16/1), on the Globo screen and Globoplay stream.
