The independent – very simply, without the toilet helmet, the propensity for extreme violence, or the sidekick eagle (as far as we know), in the guise of an independent presidential candidate whose campaign to gain ground is under the scrutiny of investigative journalists. From director Amy Rice, the film brings together an impressive cast: British star Jodie Turner-Smith plays central reporter Eli, Brian Cox as established journalist Nicholas Booker and Ann Dowd as a political candidate.
