The sequel to the classic series ‘That ’70s Show’ taps into nostalgia and studio giggles to try and recreate the original hit. But time has literally flown by. The new attraction is set in 1995 and features Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna’s (Laura Prepon) daughter from the original attraction. In the storyline, Lea Forman visits her grandparents in the summer and begins to relate to a new generation of teenagers in the inner city of Point Place, Wisconsin, under the careful care of Kitty and the stern gaze of Red.
Actors Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp reprise their roles as Eric’s parents, now dealing with their granddaughter and a new generation of visitors to their cantina – plus the young lead played by Callie Haverda (“Shut Eye”), aggregates played by Ashley Aufderheide (“Emergence”), Mace Coronel (“Colin in Black and White”), Maxwell Acee Donovan (“Gabby Duran: Alien Babysitter”), Reyn Doi (“Side Hustle”) and newcomer Sam Morelos.
