The young actress from ‘Stranger Things’ will film ‘O’Dessa’ before revealing what happens to Max in the Netflix series
The end of season 4 of ‘Stranger Things’ left us with a bitter taste with the character of Max in a coma after his confrontation with Vecnathe villain of ‘Stranger Things’, and while we hopefully wait for the character played by Sadie Sink can return safely from her “body lockdown” in season 5 of ‘Stranger Things’, the actress will shoot a project of a completely different nature.
The star of ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Fear Street’ will shoot in Croatia in May ‘O’Dessa’, a rock opera set in a post-apocalyptic future about a farm girl on an epic quest to recover a prized family heirloom. A journey that will take her to a strange and dangerous city where she meets her true love. But, to save her soul, she must put the power of destiny and songs to the test.
Geremy Jasper (‘Patti Cake$’) has written the script and will direct ‘O’Dessa,’ a Searchlight production featuring original songs written and produced by Jasper himself and Jason Binnick.
Sadie Sink continues like this with a stellar career in the making to which we must also add the upcoming premiere of ‘The Whale’, the Darren Aronofsky film starring Brendan Fraser that is on everyone’s lips for the awards season. ‘The Whale’ will be released in Spanish cinemas next week, on January 27.
Regarding ‘Stranger Things 5’, Sink has recently commented on Max that “I would like to see her awake. I want to know if I have to wear casts again, I would like that chapter to be closed“. The fifth season of the Netflix series will premiere, most likely, throughout 2024.
