Trading on the New York Stock Exchanges is interrupted by a technical problem

Trading of dozens of shares on the New York Stock Exchange was halted shortly after market open Monday (24), due to an apparent technical glitch.

The major stocks affected include Morgan Stanley, Verizon, AT&T, Nike and McDonald’s, according to the NYSE website. Many stocks exhibited erratic moves, with large rallies soon after market open, which may have caused disruptions in volatility.

More details on the technical problem are not yet known, nor how much it actually affected the functioning of some cards.
