The Academy has shared its list of nominations for the 2023 Oscars, where there are several Latinos, and among the films chosen to compete for the best of the year there is a wide variety of genres and stories.
With many streaming platforms popping up today and even some movies still showing up in theaters, it can be a bit confusing to know where to find them or how to watch them. Here we help you.
Oscars 2023: ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ on Apple TV and to rent
One of the surprises of 2022 was the movie “Everything Everywhere All At Once”, which deals with the adventure of Evelyn (Michelle Yeoh) in the multiverse, something that even Marvel could not match with “Doctor Strange 2”.
For the 2023 Oscars, it received 11 nominations, including Best Actress and Best Picture. “Everything Everywhere All at Once” is available on Showtime in the US and elsewhere to rent on Apple TV, Hulu and Amazon.
Oscars 2023: “Babylon” available in cinemas
Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt and Mexican Diego Calva star in “Babylon,” a film based on real people that depicts the excesses of Hollywood in the 1920s.
Damien Chazelle’s film received 3 Oscar nominations and is available in cinemas from December in the United States and in Mexico it premiered on January 19, 2023.

Oscars 2023: “All Quiet on the Western Front” on Netflix
It was on October 28, 2022 that the drama “All Quiet on the Western Front” arrived on the Netflix platform and quickly rose to the top of the streaming platform.
The story of “All Quiet on the Western Front” is based on real war events and tells the story of Paul, a 17-year-old soldier who joins the Western Front during the First World War.

Oscars 2023: ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ in theaters and Disney+
The sequel that took James Cameron more than a decade to make hit theaters in late 2022 and continues to play in some theaters as late as January 2023.
The story of the Na’vi inhabiting the planet Pandora and fighting for their lives against humans is still in theaters and coming to Disney+ later this year.
Oscars 2023: ‘The Fabelmans’ in theaters and digital rental
The famous director Steven Spielberg this year presented this dramatic film inspired by his childhood and youth, which earned him nominations in 7 categories, including Best Film and Best Director.
In the United States, “The Fabelmans” can already be purchased or rented on digital platforms such as Amazon Prime and Apple TV, and is still playing in theaters. Elsewhere, including Mexico, the film was released in theaters on January 26.

The friendship drama “The Banshees of Inisherin” or “The Spirits of the Island” has an all-star cast with Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan and received 9 Oscar nominations.
“The Banshees of Inisherin” hit theaters last October and will reach other parts of the world such as Spain on February 2. In the United States it is already available on HBO Max.
