I notify! Contains spoilers for All-Out Avengers #5!
In Avengers all out #5recently released, Spider-Man believes that the Avengers are being mind controlled by some villain and, knowing that they will try to capture him thanks to an electronic device, Peter Parker get ready to face the greatest heroes of the world and don’t let them get their hands on such an item.
In the storyline, the Avengers suffered from amnesia and believe it was caused by an electronic device, not only with them, but also with Spider-Man, who also believes his fellow heroes are manipulated by the same object. And, after a quick attempt to settle everything in conversation, the team’s search for Peter Parker begins.
Parker’s first victim is Iron Man, who ends up neutralized by a short circuit caused by the climber’s webs. Then, She-Hulk tries to come forward with a punch, which is easily deflected by Spider-Man.
Captain Marvel takes the opportunity to restrain the hero, who then launches a capsule with cobwebs, which invade Carol Danvers’ lungs and mouth. Since her idea is not to kill her, Parker warns that in a short time the substance will dissolve, leaving her momentarily neutralized, just enough for him to escape.
When entering a building, Blade, Black Panther, and Captain America engage in physical combat. The scenario actually favors Spider-Man, as he is extremely skilled at this type of encounter. In addition to being able to return the blow and dodge with skill, Parker manages to immobilize the trio with a spider bomb, which leaves everyone glued. Finally, Thor also manages to hold Parker, but barely frees himself from the Asgardian, freeing part of his uniform. .
At the end of the storyline, Spider-Man gives up, and only then do the Avengers find out that, in fact, Parker never got the device they were looking for – the object was already with a friend from his college for analysis. Either way, it’s still fun to see how the Wall Climber managed to face, flee, fight and outwit the world’s greatest heroes.
Oh yeah, after all, Captain America believes he knows who is manipulating both the team and Spider-Man: none other than the almighty Beyonder. And the story continues in the next issue.
