With Henry Cavill and Eiza González already on board for their next film, The Ministry of War without Knights, Guy Ritchie has recruited the rest of the cast he needs for the WWII film. Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Henrique Zaga, Alex Pettyfer, Cary Elwes, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun and Til Schweiger show up for work.
Paul Tamasy and Eric Johnson presented the original screenplay, based on the bestseller of the same name by war correspondent and military historian Damien Lewis. The real story covers British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Ian Fleming’s secret WWII combat organization. The unconventional and “rude” fighting techniques of the underground Nazi squad helped turn the tide of war and gave birth to the modern Black Ops unit.
Ritchie will start shooting the film in two weeks in Turkey.
