The director is in talks with the new directors of the DC Worlds.
The director of ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate’, James Mangold, has responded to the assumptions that placed him in charge of the new film about ‘Swamp Thing’.
Earlier in the week, new DC CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran revealed their plans for the future of the DC Universe, with an adaptation of “Swamp Thing” among the upcoming titles in the franchise.
Although Mangold’s involvement has not yet been confirmed, The Hollywood Reporter published that the director was in the middle of negotiations to direct the tape.

‘The Authority’ is another of the novelties announced, which will be based on a group of superheroes from the late 90s.
Finally, ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’ and a sequel to Robert Pattinson’s ‘Batman’ (which will take place in a separate timeline called DC Elseworlds) have been included in the new calendar, along with a long list of titles: ‘Creature Commandos’, ‘Waller’, ‘Lanterns’, ‘Paradise Lost’ and ‘Booster Gold’…
