Corinthians held this Friday morning at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, another formation preparing for the duel against Botafogo-SP, valid for the sixth round of the Paulista Championship.
The day’s activities began in the gym and, subsequently, the athletes went to Camp 2 to warm up. On the grass, coach Fernando Lázaro conducted tactical defensive positioning work with the team.
Finally, there was still technical training of submissions and free kicks.
Defensive midfielder Maycon has appeared again in images released by the club, but without the certainty that he is managing to perform activities alongside his other team-mates. Argentine Fausto Vera, who has been training normally, is getting closer to his return and could already be in line for the weekend’s match.
Five players from the basic categories completed the day’s training: goalkeeper Kauê (2004), defender Murillo (2002), midfielder Matheus Araújo (2002) and forwards Arthur Sousa (2003) and Wesley (2005). The second is even close to signing a contract renewal with Timão.
This was the penultimate work of Corinthians before the match against the Ribeirão Preto team. The team will finish preparing for the match this Saturday, once again in the morning.
The match against Pantera is scheduled for this Sunday, at 18:30 (Brasilia time), at the Neo Química Arena. Corinthians, at the moment, is the leader of group C of Paulistão, with ten points, and comes from a victory in the classic Majestoso, 2 to 1.
