When the duo performed together, Quan was only 12 years old. However, last year Indiana Jones and Tapon reunited 38 years laterand showed that time has not changed the bond that unites them.
Ke Huy Quanwhich has gone from old eighties glory to Oscar favourite, shared a truly moving insight into the encounterexplaining: “As I approach, he turns and points his finger at me, with that classic Harrison Ford look. And I’m like, ‘My God, he probably thinks I’m a fan and is going to tell me to stay away from him. ‘ But he looks at me, points at me and says: ‘Are you Stopper?'”
“Immediately, I was transported to 1984, when I was little, and I said, ‘Yes, Indy.’ And he said, ‘Come here,’ and he gave me a big hug. When I hugged him, all the wonderful memories came back to me. I had from shooting. I felt so comfortable. It was incredible, and he’s an incredible man, one of the most generous men on the planet.”
