Warning, this article contains spoilers for The Flash Season 8, which has not yet been published in France. If you do not want to understand anything, do not read!
In the last episode of Thunderbolt Flash. A character well known to fans died when he seized power from Deathstorm (Robbie Amelie). This is the killer Frost (Daniel Panabeaker), Caitlin Doppelganger from Earth-2. This episode infuriated fans who did not expect this disastrous end for the meta-human.
According to TVLineWhen showman Eric Wallace explained the idea to Daniel Panabecker, he immediately asked if this death would be permanent:My only question was: Are we really going to kill him? Because the claim was not correct. It had to be his real death to be completely truthful and honest.”
Fortunately, the authors of the series have clearly stated their intentions, they are not going to return Killer Frost. Flash followers know this, the dead are not always like that, but this character should therefore be one of the exceptions.
To make the death of the killer Frost significant, the writers thus brought it back to Deathstorm, whose fate has been linked to Caitlin from day one. A return that made the young woman and the murderer Frost’s translator very happy: “He and I always worked well together.”
In the 13th episode of Season 8 of The Flash, which aired last night on the CW in the United States, Killer Frost managed to capture the deadly forces of Deathstorm. But the meta-man could not stand them and eventually died.
So Daniel Panabecker had to say goodbye to the killer Frost character, but he will continue to play Caitlin for the rest of Season 8. However, the actor is avoiding participating in the ninth season of The Flash:I hope to be back …”
What does the death of the killer Frost mean for Barry and his team? How does Caitlin react to the loss of her double? French fans will have to be patient to find out. The release date for the 8th season on Syfy is still unknown.
