Jason Momoa’s Fast X Villain Dante is ‘1000% Momoa,’ says Louis Leterrier – World’s First Images

Over its ten-episode run (and counting), Fast Saga has amassed a stellar selection of foes who, by and large, tend to join our heroes on the side of good after their time as villains. We had Jason Statham’s frozen Deckard Shaw, Idris Elba’s “Black Superman” Brixton in hobbs and shawCypher, Charlize Theron’s current supervillain, who, in the fate of the furious, even managed to incite Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto to (ultimately virtuous) acts of antagonism. And now, following in the footsteps of F9: the fast saga‘s Jakob, played by John Cena, there is another new face entering the franchise x fastready to sow hell for Dom Toretto and company: meet Jason Momoa’s Dante, seen above in world premiere.

“He’s an incredible new character,” promises director Louis Leterrier. “She IS 1000% Momoa.” And that’s not the only problem for the Fast family this time around, as Cypher is still pulling all kinds of digital and vehicular strings into her mysterious grand scheme. “It’s bad news, but one is more afraid than the other. One is worse than the other,” Leterrier jokes about the villain dynamic this time around.

Brie Larson’s mysterious Tess also enters the fray and where exactly she lands. FastThe escalating (and ever-evolving) scale of heroes and villains remains to be seen. But enter a whirlwind of high-octane action and familiar factions that Leterrier says has been a long time coming. “When you’ve fought so hard to keep your faith and protect your family, and literally change the world, as in the case of Dom Toretto, there is a price to pay,” warns the director. “His enemies pursue him. There is a sum total of enemies chasing him. With a war quickly brewing, new faces that can’t be trusted, many villains, and all manner of carnage on the horizon, Dom will have his work cut out for him as the franchise draws to a close. He has never needed his family so much.
