Survey by Forbes magazine points out which 10 entertainment names that pocketed the most last year
The magazine’s website forbes shared its traditional survey of the entertainment names that made the most money in the previous year. The 2022 ranking brings the band Genesis at the top, with an impressive value of US$ 230 million (about R$ 1.2 billion at current exchange rates).
Two reasons in particular placed the group formed by Phil Collins (drums and vocals) Tony Banks (keyboards and guitar) and Mike Rutherford (bass and guitar) at the “head” of the list. The first is linked to the realization of the farewell tour “The Last Domino?”, with a relatively short series of shows, but with tickets well disputed and in great arenas of the United Kingdom.

The copyright was sold in October last year for US$ 300 million (about R$ 1.56 billion at current prices), setting up one of the biggest negotiations of its kind in all history.
In second place, appeared the musician Stingformer member of The Policewith $210 million coming into his pocket throughout 2022. The actor, writer and comedian Tyler Perry completed the podium, in third place, having US$ 175 million.
