Material is the next project by the artist, who reunited in 2019 with his sister Sandy for a successful tour of Brazil
the plans of Junior Lima after the duo’s successful reunion tour Sandy & Junior, held in 2019, were revealed. The artist recorded a new album and intends to start his solo career in 2023.
According to Mauro Ferreira, columnist for G1the record made by the son of Xororo took shape in the final quarter of 2022. The recordings were made in a studio in Campinas, the artist’s hometown. Before recording the material, he took singing lessons with the vocal coach Fausto Caetano.
Still without other details revealed, the album in question will be the first of Junior Lima with his own name and the second that he records without the company of Sandy. With revenue of R$ 120 million, the tour made the duo enter second place in the list of most profitable musical tours in the world in the year it was held.
