Blink-182 cancels shows in South America and Twenty One Pilots take over as headliner at Lollapalooza
Twenty One Pilots will replace Blink 182 at the Lollapalooza Brazil. Event announced on social networks that the band formed by Tyler Joseph It is Josh Dun plays on Saturday, March 25th.
The cancellation had already been speculated since last week. “Health problems” prevented presentations of the Blink 182 in South America and Mexico, according to the press release Lollapalooza.
The band, however, is the first confirmed attraction in the 2024 edition. In an unprecedented policy, the festival offers refunds to the public who bought tickets for March 25 (Saturday) in the Lolla Day, Lolla Comfort Day and Lolla Lounge Day modalities.
Twenty One Pilots returns to Brazil after four months, after a show at GPWeek in 2022. This will be the third visit to the festival. In 2016 and 2019, the duo conquered the public with a presentation worthy of the main stage.

Travis Barker injury
Travis Barkerdrummer of Blink 182, injured his finger twice in less than a month and must undergo surgery, making the tour impossible. On February 8, 2023, she wrote a post on twitter: “I was playing drums in rehearsals yesterday and I hit my finger so hard I dislocated it and tore the ligaments.” Furthermore, on February 20, he shared a photo of the fist on his Instagram stories, and revealed that he was injured “again.”
