Blink will return to the festival in 2024; find out how this affects who bought the ticket
Twenty one pilots will be one of the headliners of the Lollapalooza. The announcement was made by the festival’s press office on Wednesday 1. The idea is that the duo will replace the band Flash 182who canceled their show at the event.
“OR Flash 182 was forced to cancel all appearances in South America and Mexico due to ill health. This includes the performance at Lollapalooza Brasil on March 25 in São Paulo […] however, we are very happy to announce that the Twenty one pilots has returned to Lolla BR,” reads an excerpt from the statement.
OR Festival also reported that the band Flash 182 will be invited to join the 2024 line-up. However, anyone who feels offended by the cancellation and doesn’t want to attend the Twenty one pilots has the following options.
“Given the cancellation of the band’s presentation, we will make available to ticket holders for the Lolla Day, Lolla Comfort Day and Lolla Lounge Day modes on 25/03 free of charge the possibility of keeping the ticket active and participating in the event or, in period from 01/03 to 07/03/2023 ask for a refund of the ticket value The 2023 tickets will not be valid for the 2024 edition”, concludes the text.
On your Instagram profile, tom delongesinger of Flash 182complained about the inconvenience.
“It’s so sad. This would be one of the greatest shows we would ever play. It’s one of the most important places bands play. We are devastated and plan to return to the lola brazil, Chile, Argentina. Let’s do it all in 2024!” promised the artist.
