A caramel puppy is adopted and has gone viral at the Recife carnival

Mutt has shared the stage with Marina Sena, Lia de Itamaracá and even with the revelry of the king and queen of Pernambuco

The saga of the “carnival” caramel puppy in Recife has earned another chapter. The mestizo, who became famous after taking a nap on the stage where Marina Sena performed at the city carnival, will leave the streets of the Frevese capital for a house.

According to the Pernambuco government press office, the puppy known as ‘Caramelo Carnavalesco’ was adopted by the couple Mauro Rossiter and Narele Coelho, aged 43 and 41 respectively. Parents of two teenagers, the two followed the saga of the puppy, fell in love with it and decided to adopt it.

Also good news is that the pet won’t have to get used to an abrupt name change. Mauro, his new guardian, has revealed that the family plans to call him Frevo Caramelo Culturale.

But before reaching his new home, Caramelo was seen at the Recife Veterinary Hospital, where he underwent a series of tests and treatments, receiving a rabies vaccine and preventive medicine against fleas and ticks.

The saga of the bastard began in January when he “invaded” the king and queen contest at the Recife carnival. Since then, Caramelo Cultural has again shared the stage with Marina Sena, Lia de Itamaracá, wagged its tail at the Frevo headquarters and even attended the opening dress rehearsal with Maestro Forró and his Orquestra Popular da Bomba do Hemetério. Fame has produced articles, posts, and even an unofficial profile on Instagram, tasked with helping with the adoption process.
