Vadio Bird exposes contemporary loneliness in the video for ‘Nem Perto de Cair’

Ramiro Macedowith your project stray birdreleased the track “Not Close to Falling.” The song is the first single from the artist’s next album – successor to chaos (2017). With the hiatus forced by the pandemic as a theme, a video directed by Marcelo Alves accompanies the release.

The contemporary solitude of big cities was one of the inspirations for the lyrics and visuals of “Nem near Cair.” The heavy daily life falls on the characters lived by Ramiro and for the actress Poliana Schuelter. The scenes are interrupted by a severe cough caused by a simple sip of water in the apartment.

The story is borrowed from the musician’s publication Guri Assis Brasil, who choked on drinking water and experienced something close to a panic attack. The isolation of the pandemic may have been one of the factors that led to despair. The clip was filmed in 2021, in just three days, between São Paulo and the coast of Santa Catarina.

The track has Sergio Reze on battery, Joao Augusto Jojô on bass and keyboards, while Marcos Abreu was responsible for mastering. Mixing was done by Marcelo Fruet It is Atila Vianawith production also signed by fruit.
