Saxon no longer comes to Brazil for concerts in monsters of rock It is Ribeirão Rock Series. The band would perform alongside KISS, Scorpions, deep purple, helloween, Symphony X It is Doro at the events scheduled for April this year in São Paulo and Ribeirão Preto respectively.
The decision was announced in a note on social media. Paul Quinnguitarist, chose to move away from the stage and continue working in the group only for studio recordings and occasional special presentations.
With the proximity of the dates in South America, Saxon claimed to be unable to regroup, with the choice of a replacement musician. Shows in Europe, still in March, will be held according to the agenda. Band will also honor commitments in the northern hemisphere summer, when they should play festivals.
“After many years on the road, with the fatigue and stress that accompany our long tours, paul doesn’t want to disappoint the rest of the band and the fans with a shaky performance,” reads the statement.

Tickets range from R$340.00 (half ticket) to R$2,500.00 (full VIP ticket – Backstage Gazebo) and are available at the official ticket office at Allianz Parque (no convenience fee) and on the Eventim website.
