Rick Allen attacked outside hotel in Fort Lauderdale
Rick Allendrummer of Def Leppardwas attacked in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (United States) according to the website TMZ. The information obtained from the case’s police report also revealed that the aggressor is Max Edward Hartley19 years old.
The musician was smoking a cigarette while the suspect waited behind a pole. Hartley would have run towards Allen and attacked him with punches and kicks, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground.
A woman leaving the hotel tried to help, according to the bulletin, but was also attacked. Hartley pulled her hair and dragged her across the floor when she tried to return to the hotel.
The man was found at another hotel nearby. He was arrested after he damaged several cars in a parking lot, but was released on bail. rick stated that he will sue the assailant.
Def Leppard goes on tour with Motley Crue. The bands performed only in Brazil, at the Allianz Parque stadium, in São Paulo, on March 7th.
