Twenty One Pilots performed “First Date” at Lollapalooza Chile to honor Blink-182
Twenty One Pilots decided to honor Blink 182 at their shows in South America. In Argentina, last Saturday, the duo played the track “All the Small Things.” In Chile, on Sunday, they performed “First Date.”
On social networks, the covers divided opinions. Pitty highlighted, with irony, the animation of Tyler Josephfrontman of Twenty One Pilots. “Vocalist was excited, right?”, he wrote on Twitter.

With members who are self-confessed fans of Blink 182, Twenty One Pilots was chosen to replace the band after injury to the drummer, Travis Barker. Even during a hiatus, they accepted an invitation and returned to Brazil less than five months after their last visit to the country, in November 2022.
