Lollapalooza would still be awaiting reimbursement of Drake’s fee, paid in full before the show
The almost coming of drake to Brazil still yields subjects. According to Léo Dias’ column, in the metropolisesthe rapper did not return the fee received for presentation at Lollapalooza – whose cancellation was announced less than 24 hours before the show.
The fee is estimated at US$ 4 million (about R$ 21.2 million). Still according to the column, the amount was paid in full before the presentation of drake. Even if there is no cancellation penalty, the musician should refund the amount.
Drake canceled show because audience is ‘demanding’ and ‘sings wrong’
In another publication by Metrópoles, the website states that Drake would have canceled the show because he thinks that the Brazilian public is “very demanding” and because his fee is lower compared to shows in Europe and the United States.
