O countrysideO funk and the squeeze were the most heard genres in Brazil in the summer of 2023, according to Spotify. The information was released last week by the platform and also includes the artists with the most streams in the period, which ended this March.
Marília Mendonça remains the Brazilian name with the most plays on Spotify Brazil, followed by Jorge & Mateus It is Ana Castile. MC Ryan SP brings the funk next. Henrique & Juliano, MC Hairy, Gusttavo Lima, Mari Fernandez, Matheus & Kauan It is Maiara & Maraisa complete the list.
Among the genres, the leadership was with the sertanejo pop, followed by the sertanejo university. Carioca funk comes in third, followed by sertanejo in general and arrocha. Pop comes only in sixth position, followed by dance pop. The funk MTG (which rescues the past of the genre), funk ostentação and pagode complete the list.

The platform also released the list of the most played songs on the station, which repeats the pattern of the previous ones, with “Leão”, by Marília Mendonça at the top, followed by “Bombonzinho”, by Israel & Rodolffo and Ana Castela, and “Eu I like it”, live version, by Mari Fernandez and Gustavo Mioto.
