‘Aquarela do Brasil’ ranks up and joins ‘Carinhoso’ in second place in ECAD survey
On the occasion of World Voice Day, celebrated this April 16, the ECAD (Central Collection and Distribution Office) has released a new ranking of the most recorded Brazilian songs of all time.
Topping the list is the song again Ipanema girl, Tom Jobim AND Vinicius de Moraes, which once again occupies the first position in the ECAD chart, remaining as the most recorded Brazilian song of all time. Classical music, which can be heard in different parts of the world and in countless audiovisual productions, was already ranked first in the last edition of the survey.
Next, there are Brazilian watercolorwritten by Aria BarrosoAND Tendercomposed of Pixinguinha and Braguinha, which he tied in the standings, placing second. comes the third White wingIn Humberto Teixeira and Luiz Gonzaga.
There is an alternation of positions from one survey to another, which is explained by ECAD. According to the organ, this happens from the registration of the new recordings of songs in the associations (Abramus, Amar, Assim, Sbacem, Sicam, Socinpro and Ubc) that manage Ecad. Composers, artists and other owners join one of them and update their records with new compositions and recordings. It is these data that make up the ECAD database, one of the largest in Latin America.
