Singer Gab Ferreirawhich went viral on social media after performing for small audiences at Lollapalooza, talked about the case and told the outcome of the story. Gab was the first artist to perform on the first day of the festival and said “logistical issues” and the subway strike, which started the day before and ended the day of the presentationhurt the public.

The singer, who will perform at noon, said he was informed by a friend that, at around 11.40am, no one had managed to enter the Interlagos AutodromeIn St. Paulwhere the event takes place. The expectation, according to her, was for audiences to arrive around 11:00.
“At that moment, I started having a ‘little twist,’ thinking maybe the worst possible scenario could happen,” she commented. The artist said that she could not postpone the show, as she would influence the schedule of the following attractions.
Upon entering the stage, Gab realized that the audience was very small. “I spent the first few songs a little upset, because I knew there were a lot of people who wanted to be on the show,” he said, who said guests also couldn’t be present at the presentation.
After the show ended, the singer said she felt “very shaken up”. When she realized the repercussions the case had had on the Internet and in the press, the feeling got even worse, according to the report.
With the backlash, however, Internet users began to unite to give visibility to the artist. “The story has started to gain a very large proportion,” she said. Gab said she was used to doing small shows, as she is part of “a very closed scene in São Paulo”.
