Band confirmed resumption of activities in 2019, although most of the presentations took place between 2022 and 2023

One of the most successful rock bands of the 2000s, My Chemical Romancemoved fans by announcing, still in 2019, that it would resume activities after almost a decade of hiatus. That year, however, they performed only one show, in December. Later plans were disrupted due to the pandemic.

It was only from 2022 onwards that the public had the opportunity to watch them on the call Reunion Tour. Between last year and the current year, a total of 72 shows have taken place, most of them in North America (42) and Europe (21). According to the journalist José Norberto Flesch, Brazil was part of the plans for 2023, but the musicians withdrew from coming for undisclosed reasons.

The fact is that the tour has yielded great numbers of public and income for the My Chemical Romance. According to Touring Dataa profile on social networks specializing in collecting information about tours, the Reunion Tour managed to generate more than US$ 91 million (about R$ 459 million at current quotation and in direct transaction) with 57 of the 72 presentations. On average, the value obtained per performance is US$ 1.59 million (approximately R$ 8 million).

The number of tickets sold for the 57 appointments mentioned was also released. According to the calculation, 750,629 fans purchased tickets for the presentations. On average, there are 13,169 tickets sold per event.

– PNC Arena, Raleigh: 13,902 tickets sold (100% capacity) – $2,482,991 in total revenue
– Tacoma Dome, Tacoma: 19,617 tickets sold (100% capacity) – $2,351,736 in total income
– Oakland Arena in Oakland: 13,301 tickets sold (100% capacity) – $2,312,402 in total revenue
