A fluttering skirt, braids in her hair, an attentive and admiring gaze have given life to what will be the most danceable song of the debut EP by Yutaka. Regard Lady of a looka partnership with Statewhich is already available on digital platforms and also has the official video Youtube.
Composed by the artists themselves and produced by Bruno Dupre – who has worked with names like Maneva, Raël, Viegasamong others -, owner at first sight presents a to flow with grooves and well detailed lyrics of facial features, swirling skirt and braided hair.
“It’s a fun song that brings admiration and enchantment, in a possible conquest! It shows how much someone who is in love wants to get closer and who knows how to start a love story,” explains Yutaka. The clip, directed by Rodrigo Pysi, follows the same line. “There’s a lot of movement and a full skirt that lends full glamor and color to the clip! We bring the purple and green palettes that make up the earthy and down to earth dance moves”complete.
Speaking of the collaboration, the artist claims that he had the privilege of listening to Sttu’s entire EP in one of the sessions at the home studio of Dupree: “There I noticed such talent, flow and a lot of Grooves! I had a composition at the beginning that I wanted to dance! That’s when I thought of Sttu! I sent him this excerpt and he liked it! And we were making verses and putting the song together for whatsapp itself”, ends.
Singer and composer Philip Yutakaor simply Yutaka, is one of the newest and most promising names in Brazilian reggae. Born in St. Paul and with just a two-year career, his songs have already nearly made an impact 1 million people on digital platforms, in addition to having already entered into important partnerships with handle AND viegas.
