The context Miss Gran Rio de Janeiro will elect, next Sunday (7/05), the most beautiful woman in the entire state. The event takes place at Baden Powel Hall Theater of Copacabana.
The stage will see the participation of 13 candidates from different municipalities of Rio and the chosen one of the evening will compete for the national title miss grand brazil which takes place in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, between 7 and 11 June.
A panel of judges made up of celebrities and fashion and beauty professionals will evaluate the elegance, ease, beauty and friendliness of the participants.
On the runway, the contestants flashed three dresses as they were analyzed by the judging panel. After the voting, it’s time to award miss sympathy, miss popularity – who will be elected by popular vote on the internet – and the final result which will crown Miss Grand Rio de Janeiro 2023.
The winner of last year’s edition, Keila Field The 28-year-old says the contest was a milestone in her life. “Participating in Miss Grand was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that opened the door to a modeling career for me. After being elected, I landed incredible jobs, such as a fashion show for SPFW, photos for Vogue, among other works that have been crucial in my journey.”, commented Keila who still remembered who had been her great encourager.
“Aunt Noemi has always believed a lot in me and in honor of her and all that she represents not only for me, but for the whole Miss world, I have decided to honor my kingdom”, vents Camp who almost gave up playing the national stage representing the state of Rio de Janeiro, due to the death of Naomi Rossettocompetition coordinator, victim of Covid-19.
