Gugu Liberato’s alleged son requests DNA test in court

It seems that the bullshit and confusion are far from over for the Liberato family, which was already experiencing confusing days when the distribution of the inheritance after the death of gugu in 2019 things are about to get even more hectic.

According to the columnist Leone Dias do Metrópoles discovered, a man named Ricardo Rocha, a merchant from São Paulo, asks, in court, to be recognized as the son of the late presenter Augusto Liberato.

According to the columnist, the merchant’s mother had a casual relationship with the presenter in the 70s and became pregnant. After Gugu’s death, Rocha seeks legal recognition as his son.

The trader claimed in court that his mother, called Otacília, met Augusto Liberato, known as Gugu, in the second half of 1973, when the presenter was only 14, and ended up developing a casual relationship. The two reportedly met at a bakery near where they both worked. According to the lawsuit, Gugu worked in a real estate company close to the location, while Otacília was a maid for a family of Japanese descent.

The woman would have discovered the pregnancy at the beginning of the following year, in 1974, and would have sought out Augusto Liberato to break the news. However, Gugu was never found again. Ricardo Rocha was born in October 1974 and was registered without the alleged father’s name on the birth certificate. As he grew older, the merchant’s mother informed him that his father was Gugu Liberato, who began a successful career in television in the 1980s. However, Rocha preferred to leave aside the acknowledgment of his paternity.
