Occupying the first place of worst music video of the Bon Jovithe vocalist chose the single ‘Runaway’from the eponymous debut album.
“When we made the video of ‘Runaway’, all I could think was, ‘I just learned to play the guitar and wrote a song. Do you want me to be a filmmaker?’ […] If you want to embarrass me, tie me to a chair and make me watch videos from my first two albums.”
In fact, the third disc of the Bon Jovi, Slippery When Wet (1986), was a landmark in the history of hard rock and is currently enshrined in the list of the 200 definitive albums in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in addition to being one of the best sellers in the history of the genre.
