annual tribute to Prince will have news in 2023. The celebration held at the Paisley Park – the musician’s studio, venue and museum – should show unpublished recordings to the public. The event takes place between June 8th and 11th, in Minnesota (United States).
The tribute is led by well-known faces in the music industry and will feature talks that explore the life and legacy of Princeaccording to NME.
The organization did not specify how many tracks will be released during the event. The musician’s archives have “hundreds of hours” of unreleased demos, new versions of classics, concert footage, live recordings and other content.
“We believe that Prince it was the heart of what would become one of the most creative and talented communities in the world. This year, we want to highlight how you continue his legacy in many ways,” the celebration description reads.
“There will be opportunities to share how your contribution to Prince’s legacy has impacted others, time for creative expression and a panel highlighting some amazing members of the community who have made an impact globally.”
