Beto Lee honors his mother, Rita Lee, in a post on Instagram

beto leeson of Rita Lee, honored the mother after her loss, this Monday (8). With a discreet post on social networks, the musician commented:

“Love you forever. A huge part of me died today.”

In Portuguese, the caption reads: “I love you forever. A huge part of me died today.”

Earlier, Rita’s other son, John Leepublished a video on social networks in which he shows him, as a child, next to his mother. In the caption, John wrote:

“We’ve always talked about how terribly important it is to choose your heroes well. They are the ones who shape our lives, our behavior and who we are. We need to think and choose very carefully. If you want to get a sense of who a person is, or going to be, ask her who her heroes are. Chances are high that, at some point in her life, this person will look like your hero/heroine. It’s inevitable. And you are, and always have been, my heroine .”

Rita Lee, one of the greatest singers and songwriters in the history of Brazilian music, died this Monday (8), aged 75. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2021 and had been undergoing treatments against the disease.
