The release came after the artist canceled a show he was due to be doing in Rio de Janeiro. On Instagram, the artist said she was assisted due to a “Weakness That Doesn’t Go Away” and will be subjected to a series of tests.
Angela, 73, had postponed the show that was to be held on April 7 to next Thursday 12, but the presentation was also cancelled.
In the post’s caption, the singer said she hopes to stick to her concert schedule and added, “My health first!”
“I inform you that I am being treated at the Cosme Velho Silvestre Hospital, in Rio de Janeiro, for reasons that my weakness will not go away and I have already canceled the show at Rival for the day after tomorrow, May 12. I will undergo a series of tests blood… Electrocardiogram, a number of things. I hope I’m fine and I’ll let you know soon after. Thank you very much and that’s it. I hope I can get better and work. I love you,” the singer said in the video.
When the cancellation of the exhibition in Rio was announced on May 4, some portals reported that Angela had been hospitalized, which was denied by the artist’s consulting room.
Last week, in a magazine interview Whothe singer said she didn’t need to be hospitalized, but did say she was having a breakdown.
“I’m at home, I had a stress. The ‘old lady doll’ gets tired (laughs). So I’m fixing the ‘doll’. I was just weak, but I’m normal. I’m waiting to recover because I have more work to do. It’s okay,” he explained.
