OR foo fighters announced josh freese as their new drummer during an event broadcast live on the internet this Sunday afternoon, the 21st.
The position was undefined since Death of Taylor Hawkins during a tour of the band in South America in 2022, days before a show in Brazil, which ended up being cancelled.
According to the magazine Variety, Freese was a longtime friend of Dave Grohl and Hawkins himself, and played alongside bands such as Guns’n’Roses, Nine Inch Nails, Offspring and Weezer. He will participate in the tour which kicks off in New Hampshire, USA next Wednesday, May 24th.
