This Sunday (21), the band foo fighters held a live broadcast called “Foo Fighters: Preparing Songs for Concerts”directly from their Los Angeles studio. During the event, they presented new songs and gave some details to increase the excitement in relation to the tour that starts this week, the 24th, in Gilford, in the United States.

One of the highlights of this online transmission was the presentation of josh freese as a new drummer who will accompany the band on tour. During the live, the artists played nine songs and talked a lot between one song and another. In one of these moments, the magazine Kerrang!noted that Dave Grohl revealed that he recorded drums on at least one track on the upcoming studio album.

after the music “Nothing At All”, josh commented with grohl: “When you explained the beat on the record, saying something like ‘I think I played it with one hand’, I’m doing something similar. It feels good and sounds cool, you know?” grohl replied, “That wasn’t intentional. I came up with that when I demoed it at home, right after I woke up and I was still tired. But on my bad drums at home, it ended up sounding better. You’re not banging the hi-hat and snare drum when same time, so there’s more space”.
