Lana Del Rey’s father announced the first album of his musical career
Rob Grantfather of Lana Del Reyis not ashamed of the title of nepo daddy – a play on the term nepo baby, which, in turn, alludes to “babies of nepotism.”
In February, grant announced the first project in music. Their debut album is called lost at sea and is scheduled for the 9th of June. The album brings some surprises, such as the participation of Lanaartistic name of Lizzie Grantin two songs: in the title track and in a song called “hollywood bowl.”
As revealed in an interview with QA (via NME), he discovered the term in the Instagram comments and got a good reaction: “I love that nepo daddy. I’m happy to be the first nepo daddy.” grant he even talked about his musical background, which didn’t come in conventional ways.
In addition to Lana, lost at sea has other special collaborations, according to the description issued by the label: “He called a team of talent to contribute to the album. The participation and compositions include his daughter Lana Del Reywhile production credits include Jack Antonoff, Luke Howard, Laura Sisk It is Zach Dawes.”
The album’s cover even resembles some of her daughter’s projects, such as Norman Fucking Rockwell!. Check out:
