the legendary singer Cherlongtime friend of the late Tina Turner (1938-2023), gave an interview to the program The beat from the MSNBCpresented by Ari Melber and revealed that the hitmaker from what does love have to do with this was “very happy”even if it was “very sick” in the last months of his life.
“I started visiting her because I thought, ‘I need to take this time out for our friendship, to let her know we haven’t forgotten her.'”he said Cher. “We all took turns spending time with her and that made her happy.”said the singer of 77 years old.
Cher he also revealed that when he visited Tina at home in Switzerland, Queen of Rock warned he didn’t have much time to go out.
“Then five hours later we were laughing like crazy and she wanted to get up and show us everything she bought back home,” continued Cher. “She was enjoying herself even though she was very ill and didn’t want people to know about it.”
He also noticed that Tina Turner he had “your dialysis machine at your home”. This appliance is normally used by people with end-stage renal failure.
“She’s been battling this disease for so long and she was as strong as you think she would be, but I know finally, she once said to me, ‘I’m really ready. I just don’t want to take it anymore,'” remembered Cherwithout specifying the disease. “She gave me a lot of strength at times and I gave a lot of strength to her too. I think we were perfect friends for each other, really”he concluded.
