Lady Gaga wrote this song for us and, like you said, the first time I listened to it, I thought, “Well, it’s just a classic song.” It has a great melody. And when Hans Zimmer heard it, he said, “I can build the love theme of the movie from that.” This is why Lady Gaga had a credit with Hans and Harold (Faltermeyer) in the beginning, because that song became the love theme used orchestrated throughout the film.
