A T4F it has up to 10 days to respond to the notification and, if the body concludes that there has been a violation of consumer rights, the company can pay a fine of up to R$13 million.
“The Consumer Defense Code guarantees the right to a safe and efficient service, prohibiting any kind of manifestly excessive advantage. Therefore, with this communication, we try to understand the measures taken by the organizer so that the tickets are not monopolized by unauthorized resellers, who do not guarantee any security to the consumer, as well as reselling them at exorbitant prices”, says Cássio Coelho in a note , president of Procon-RJ.
